Two wonderful humans married at Peanut Lake with one of the most beautiful views in Crested Butte, Colorado.
The story of Chris and Carolyn’s love is close to my heart because their love is genuine, their hearts so big, and both full of adventure. They met each other at the base of Mather Pass high in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. They instantly became friends and hiked over 1,000 miles together. Their adventures have taken them from Connecticut to the wilderness of Montana all the way to the bottom of the world at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Following the second season “on ice” they faced their hardest challenge, the world’s longest long distance relationship with Carolyn staying the winter in Antarctica and Chris in Pennsylvania. The seven months apart ended when Chris proposed to Carolyn at the arrivals terminal of Denver International Airport.
Surrounded by their immediate family who traveled across the country to witness their love for one of the most genuine ceremonies I have witnessed. Thank you Chris and Carolyn for allowing Brent and I to photograph your beautiful celebration. <3
