Shevlin Park is a favorite place in Bend. With miles of trails through forested land, aspen groves and the creek running through it, it’s the idyllic location for your afternoon run, a family picnic, or your family photo session. Located about five miles from downtown Bend, it’s an easy location to gather with plenty of acreage to explore.
Summer is my favorite time of the year for many reason, one of them being I get the opportunity to work with families during their family photo session, since it is one of the most popular times to schedule a family session. Whether it is families visiting Central Oregon on their summer vacation and they realize it is the perfect place for updated family portraits, a family reunion, local families annual session or first time parents in Bend, I get to create memories for them and it is a service I am proud to offer.
After Covid-19 began, travel ceased and families were unable to visit their loved ones. We began living with the pandemic and it really hit me how easy it is to take for granted spending time with those we love. What better way to memorialize these moments through images.
