I was thrilled when Nate from J. Nelson Photography asked me to join him in photographing a wedding in Breckenridge early last month. Lilia and Paul had close friends and family from New York to partake in their winter celebration. While Nate photographed the gals getting prepared I stuck with the boys as they were getting ready.
The lesson learned at this wedding was I need to learn how to tie a real bow tie. They can be a little tricky as Paul discovered. I jumped in the car with him and his brother who were on a mission to get some assistance at the tux shop in town (which we discovered had either shut down or moved). Luckily the priest saved the day…. just minutes before the ceremony!
The ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Breck followed by the reception at Beaver Run on the mountain. A big thanks to Nate for letting me photograph this wedding alongside him. Wishing Lilia and Paul a lifetime of love and adventure!
