Summer is quickly approaching. The second I heard the Cascade Lakes Highway was opened in May, I knew I had to get a session scheduled up there. The evening drive was gorgeous, snow lined the road, Bachelor was looking mighty handsome still covered in snow. Sparks Lake was still closed due to the snow so we headed further down the highway to Elks Lake. The evening was cool, but the snow had melted and the lake was sparkling in the evening sun, we even saw a black fox during Macie’s senior session.
Macie is one of my Senior Model’s from Sisters High School. She is absolutely gorgeous, loves spending time outdoors and is down to earth. She has big plans to move to Hawaii to become a dental hygienist (can I please come visit?!) Working with teens like Macie is so much fun and it is inspiring to hear all about their future goals and dreams. It is such a privilege to work with seniors like Macie.
Senior Portrait Season is Here.
Graduation time is here, school is letting out for the summer and it is time for senior portraits! Can I just say how much I love summer? Last year fire season was soooo, sooo bad here in Central Oregon, I feel like our summer was cut short. I mean, summers are already short here in the high desert but last year it was sooooo short. I have big plans to spend lots of time outdoors. Hiking Smith Rock, picnics at the lake, floating the Deschutes, exploring more of the many lakes along the Cascade Lakes Highway are just a few things on my summer “to-do” list.
I have some availability for some summer senior sessions and there are so many gorgeous locations RIGHT HERE in our BACKYARD for your senior portrait sessions. Seriously, the possibilities of locations within an hours drive are endless. Send me a message HERE for more information and let’s start planning your senior session.
Thank you, Macie for being a part of my senior model crew. I can’t wait for our next shoot together.
