HOWDY!

I’m Gwen.  Thanks for stopping by my site.  I’m glad you found it.

Following my dreams and building a business in photography has been a dream come true.

As a photographer, I’ve met so many incredible humans.  One of the (many) reasons I love photographing intimate weddings is building that connection with clients; being a witness while documenting those quiet, unspoken moments of the day is what makes my heart beat.  There is so much goodness  and love on a wedding day.  Capturing those large and small, honest moments to tell your story will be memories you will hold onto for a lifetime.   It is always an honor and I am so grateful to be invited to document ones’ day.

I’m a HUGE believer in marriage, a HUGE believer in human CONNECTION and a HUGE believer in LOVE.   Love is a feeling, a connection but it also a decision.  If you are engaged, you’ve made a huge decision for the rest of your life. That is so very exciting and I would love to come along to document the moments of your wedding day.

I believe traveling and exploring is the best form of education and self discovery.  My first BIG adventure was at the age of 17 when I studied abroad in rural Spain.  Spain and the vibrant Spanish culture has a special place in my heart – I’ve even hiked across the entire country.  I love traveling and have experienced 13 countries, including venturing to Antarctica.

I met my dreamboat of a husband while working in Antarctica several years ago.  Part of the lure of working at the bottom of the globe, on the coldest continent, isolated from society, are the strong connections with incredible like-minded adventurous people that you bond with over the months.   Experiencing the pure beauty of nature in Antarctica was indescribable and so surreal.

Adventuring to the bottom of the world allowed me to cross paths with the love of my life.  How did you cross paths with yours?

Having an intimate mountain wedding?  Saying your vows in the mist of one of the waterfalls near the McKenzie River?  Planning a stylish backyard vow renewal?   Traveling abroad to elope?  Count me in!   I’d love to meet for a coffee and hear your love story.   I understand hiring a professional photographer is a luxury and a very important decision.  I am happy to help guide you through the process.
